I was recently asked what trends I was seeing in Service

If you've been in the industry for a few years, you will
have your own story perhaps a few too many regarding where
projects fall down. There are many reasons and I won't drag
out any specific examples but rather raise the notion (as
obvious as it is) that *end-to-end* project management is
often the solution.

Next week, June 9th and 10th is the New Zealand CIO Summit
2015 and we will be there hosting our own stand.

Building a stand for the CIO Summit was going to be a
challenge. We are a consultancy and don’t have a product
to put on a plinth and say “Buy One, get one free” and
whilst the Racing Car and 1990’s Arcade Games were cool,
they just weren’t us. In the end we decided we were there
to raise awareness of who we were and what we did so we drew
a simple line showing the elements we bring to a project and
the value our full lifecycle approach delivers. To make it
interactive we then decided to invite passers-by to place a
business card sized man (nicely branded with the Friday
logo) on the subject they thought would be their biggest
challenge. What we discovered was very enlightening.
